报告摘要：Let M_ψ be the maximal operator associated to ψ(x)=-ln⁡(1-|x|^2 ). We obtain dimension-free bounds on L^p (R^n ) for M_ψ,1<p≤∞. We show that the weak L^1 estimate does not hold for M_ψ, but does hold for the corresponding lacunary maximal operator M_ψ^D. An weak LlogL type estimate for M_ψ is obtained, which seems to be the right substitution for the weak L^1 estimate. Estimates for M_ψ are applied to dimension-free estimates for maximal Riesz transforms obtained by Mateu, Verdera, Orobitg and Pérez.

报告人简介：刘红海，博士，教授，硕士生导师，理学博士，中共党员。毕业于北京师范大学，研究方向为调和分析。刘红海的研究涉及沿曲面的奇异积分及极大函数、函数族的变差不等式、极大算子的维数无关估计、多线性算子、振荡积分等多个领域，在J. Funct. Anal.、Nagoya Math. J.、J. Fourier Anal. Appl.、Proc. R. Soc. Edinb. A.、Potential Analysis等国际知名数学杂志上发表20余篇学术论文，主持完成国家、河南省自然科学基金项目多项。
